Thank you to our Walt Disney PTA for supporting our yearly Hands-On Science Night. We've introduced hands on Science activities, engineering challenges, Escape Rooms, and this year, we launched our first, and hopefully last, Virtual Science Night. Students were able to pick up Science Night Bag O' Science Materials and participate from their homes. Our guest speakers engaged them in making towers out of pasta and marshmallows, paper structures that could hold up to a pound, and even circular paper airplanes. Our Solar System presentation- Eyes on Our Solar System- by JPL's Rachel Zimmerman engaged all students and parents. Even though "bedtime" was at 8pm, students continued to ask for more demonstrations despite their yawns!
